Final Task: Back Home

Hey, blog! This is it my final task. I finally finished!! I really hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. I followed most of what I had in the storyboard. However, not all the props were used but that's ok. I feel like it was pretty good overall. Next blog will be the reflection on this film. That's all I had for you guys. See you then!!

Production Blog: Editing Is Almost Done

Hey, blog! Today I almost finished editing. I added in all of the transitions to make it run more smoothly. I made sure to add filters to certain scenes. Just so that it looked better as some of the quality wasn't to my liking. That was mostly due to lighting issues that I really couldn't fix while filming. I made sure that everything was exactly in order. That was a must so that everything flowed and ran smoothly. Which was my main priority so that it made sense. Also, I cut some parts of the scenes as some were started to early and didn't need to be there. Others ended to late taking up unnecessary time. Overall, almost everything is done. The only other things I need to do is add the music and put in the titles. All of which I will be finishing in class tomorrow. After that it will be all done. The last step will be to upload it for you guys to see. I'm super excited for the outcome! Anyways, that's all I had for you. I'll keep you updated on any changes. See you then!!

Production Blog: Started Editing

Hey, blog! Today I started the editing process. I just did some minor things. I edited them together. I also made sure to put them in order. The rest of the week I will be working on the final touches. Like adding the music to it. I already found the upbeat song that I'm going to use. It's copyright free so I don't have to ask to use it. I'm also going to add some filters to some of the scenes. Just to make it look more like what I envisioned the scenes to look like. It will help tone down some of the light in some the scenes outside. The other thing I need to do is cut some of the time down so that it fits the time limit. Overall, its just simple things I have to do to edit it. Then I will finally be able to post the final product. I'm so excited for the outcome. Hopefully you all like it!! That's all I had for today. Production Blog: Didn’t Start Editing

Hey blog! I didn’t start editing yet. I know I said I was going to start this weekend but I just lost track of time. Then I was supposed to today but got tied up. I had to go to work last minute. Which is fine because I still have plenty of time to finish editing. I’m planning on starting tomorrow. I have study hall and my media class to work on it. Which gives me a lot of time to at least start on it. If it’s not finished tomorrow that’s ok because I still have until Friday. I’m super excited for the outcome!! I think I got some great shots and that it will really pull through. I just hope it comes out like I envisioned it to be. Even if it’s not exactly what I wanted it will be ok. Just as long as it comes out good. I sure I will be happy with it. I just hope you guys like it too!! Anyways that’s really all I had for you guys. Production Blog: The Last Scenes

Hey blog!

Today I filmed the last couple scenes of the final task. These were the ones were they were eating dinner. Instead of making an actual dinner I just used leftovers and made them look nice for the scenes. I didn't think that making a whole dinner was worth it as none of us were hungry. Also, those scenes were no that big. It went really well. The only real problem I ran into was the lighting. It was hard to make it look nice and bright without it unfocusing. It took a couple tries to do. Eventually I got some that I liked. Overall, I think everything will come out great. I think that I'm just going to edit the scenes to make it look close to how I pictured in my head. The last thing I have to do is edit. Which is really exciting. I'm so close to finishing. I'm planning on starting to edit tomorrow or sometime this week. If anything comes up I will blog about it for sure. That's really all I had for you guys. I'll keep you guys updated. See you then!!

Production Blog: Filming Tomorrow

 Hey, blog!

Today I didn’t film. I thought it was supposed to be an early release day. However, it wasn’t so the plan to film fell out. As we didn’t really have any time after school as my actor had to work. That’s ok though. Because tomorrow none of us have to work and we have a day off of school. So we planned on filming the last few scenes tomorrow. If we for some reason can’t we have Saturday and Sunday. I don’t know if Sunday will be the best time though because it’s Easter. I don’t have anything planned for Easter. However, they might have plans with their families. Either way, filming the scenes should all be done by this weekend. Then it will be on to editing. Which I’m really excited to do. That is because it’s the last step before the final product. I can’t wait to see how it turns out. That’s really all I had today. I’ll keep you updated. See you then!!
